Each role has improved me as an actor: Tina Datta

Tine is an Indian film and television actress. She played the lead role of Iccha Bharti in Uttaran and participated in the reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Read more about Tina’s growing phase of her career, and what’s next on her list.

Tina, please tell us about your journey as an actor.

Tina Datta: The journey has been an enjoyable roller coaster rider, full of troughs and peaks. It has made me who I am today. Be it Uttaran, Shaani or Daayan each show and each role I have enjoyed. Each role has improved me as an actor and led to my growth in acting skills. Each day has come as a learning experience in my life. I always believe in “Long miles to go before I sleep”

How did your personal life impact your professional?

Tina Datta: I don’t think my personal life ever impacted my professional life. Business and emotions can’t be mixed. Both my personal and profession life are two different dimensions and I never let each one affect the other. 

What are the next projects you will be looking forward to?

Tina Datta: Currently, I am working more and more on my character Jhanvi in Daayan. Abut future projects you will get to know as it comes.

Was utaran the best thing to happen to you?

Tina Datta: Yes, Uttaran was the best thing that happened to me. Ichha from Utaran was a brand for me. It made me who I am.

You have a huge fan base. How do you feel about that?

Tina Datta: It feels great to have such a big fanbase. I feel my work has goyt good appreciations and over from the audience which has contributed to my huge fan base. In the end, the audience is the king and the one for who we make content. So It’s a great thing to have a huge fanbase.
