Rishab Chadha: Firstly, thank you for acknowledging my journey. My journey has been great, filled with wonderful experiences, beautiful people that I have met along the way.
I just feel really good to be a part of this creative field, I cherish being an artist.
You did many TVC, Daily Soaps, web shows, and movies. What’s unique about each one of them?
Rishab Chadha: Honestly, everything has its own charm. I love doing TVCs – the idea of emoting and telling a story in a minute or less, really excites me, I love that.
TV has its own charm, the reach and connects with the audience is lovely, almost as if you become a part of their daily routine.
The web is like experimenting with different ideas and scripts, which is a delight for both creator and viewer.
Films are larger than life, they envelop you. That big screen is pure joy.
You gained a lot of fame after ‘Drishyam’. How do you feel about it? How was your experience working with such an amazing cast?
Rishab Chadha: Drishyam gave me a sense of credibility, as an actor, a performer. And that is what I want, the rest should follow.
I was delighted, to be a part of such a stellar star cast!
During the lockdown, you came up with your own show ‘LoveLochaLockdown’. Why the title and what’s the concept behind it?
Rishab Chadha: Honestly, I have been experimenting with writing, hence, I started shooting a few things by myself, and I intend to do so. My next project is something called Confessions of an anxious mind.
Does competition in Bollywood excites you or kills you?
Rishab Chadha: Competition is great, if you enjoy the process of it, with a good spirit.
What kind of role do you feel most comfortable with?
Rishab Chadha: I feel most comfortable doing comedy and intense genres.
One movie you wish you were a part of and why?
Rishab Chadha: ‘Zindagi Milegi Dobar. I loved Farhan’ part in the film. I am fan. He’s a treat to watch.
Do you believe in spirituality and do you feel it affects our mind and body during the crisis of Covid-19?
Rishab Chadha: 100% I do, and without a doubt. It has the ability to affect our mind and body during or after COVID. We all must seek spirituality, and then decide if we would like to follow it.
How are you keeping yourself fit during this lockdown?
Rishab Chadha: I try to work out as much as I can, with what I can do at home. I try and eat right.
Where do you see yourself in the next 25 years?
Rishab Chadha: If I speak about spirituality and the very next moment I talk about 25 years later, I have lost this moment, which is all that there is.
One message you would like to give to your fans?
Rishab Chadha: Thank you for the love, stay safe, and take care of family and friends. And most importantly yourself.
