Daniela Denise Katzenberger is a German reality TV personality, actress, restaurateur, singer, television presenter, and model. Her first single, a version of Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now reached number 19 in the German single charts in 2010.
Please tell us about your early career days? how you came to this profession? How is your experience so far?
Daniela: My career started with my wish to become a playmate for Hugh Hefner. That’s why I wanted to travel to L.A. but I had one problem: I needed money. Because of that I applied for a German TV Show, which accompanies emigrants on their ways, because i knew they would pay the flight and so on. Those were my first steps into German Television and it was a long way so far. By now I published four books, I have my own Shopping-App “Love & Style” and of course there will be another docusoap in RTLII.
You are singer, actress, host and model. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Daniela: Oh I wouldn’t call myself a professional singer or actress but I really like acting. I would like to do more jobs in that. In addition to that I like to design jewellery and clothes for my fans – I hope they like it as much as I do 🙂
If you would not be an actress or a beauty queen. What profession would you have opted for?
Daniela: I guess my training as a make-up-artist was not a bad idea. I still love to paint faces even if it’s only my own and that’s how I do it for some of my jobs. Sometimes I don’t need any Make-Up-artist because I like to do it on my own.
What is your perception regarding fitness?
Daniela: I have to admit that I hate any kind of sports 🙂 . I just pay heed to my nutrition and did some kind of Low-Carb-diet to lose my after-baby-kilo. In very very rare cases I try to do some Sit-ups or squats but that’s all I can bring my self to (laugh) .
What’s your best fan moment?
Daniela: I really love all of my fans, but the most valuable moments are with those mommys, who come to meet me with there kids. Sometimes they have one child walking next to them, one on there arms and one in the buggy – some times one more in there belly. Most of the kids I meet are really shy, but for the smaller ones I just start singing any song my own daughter likes and the ice will be broken very fast 🙂
What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?
Daniela: I never thought I would be married or have a child by my 30th Birthday. I always wanted it like that, but when I was 25 there was no future husband. I am really proud of my family and everything that happened within the last two years and of course I am proud of my career, too.
If you could time warp yourself to any point in history when would it be, who would you hang out with?
Daniela: I think I would like to meet Marilyn Monroe. To me she is one of the most beautiful women in history!
Have you ever been to India, Do you have any favorite in Bollywood. Musician, Actor and Actresses?
Daniela: Unfortunately I have never been to India, but my husband and I danced to a Bollywood-Song in a German dancing show a few months ago. For our costume we visited a Bollywood-Store in Cologne and it was fun! I really enjoyed the atmosphere in there and Lucas looked gorgeous in this Bollywood-dress 🙂
