Fashion or beauty are generally associated with females, but fashion bloggers like Sajal Bhartiya are breaking this stereotype with their blogs and works on social media.

Having his own blog ‘thewardrobesense’, Sajal talks about how he ended up in this field, advice for bloggers, skincare tips, and plans for next year.

At what moment did you decide to become a professional blogger?

Sajal: Since the beginning, while I was around 16-17. I always loved posing in front of the camera and I used to dress up for any and every occasion, and presented myself in the best possible way. Not only that, I used to follow every trend and kept my style updated even being a kid. I was really passionate about fashion, and I got appreciated for my sense of style and my pictures in college, which further encouraged me to become a professional fashion blogger.

Do you collaborate with brands/products for promotional activities?

Sajal: Yes, I do collaborate with brands and products for promotional activities. Basically such kind of collaborations give you opportunities and lift you up.

A lot of people think that influencer blogging is an easy way to make money online. Do you have some tips for those people who are interested in making money from the blog?

Sajal: Blogging is a journey in itself. A lot of hard work and patience is required to reach that level where people actually start liking your style and brands start contacting you and give you money. As fo the advice, I would say wherever you get the opportunity to showcase your style, just grab it! Don’t miss out on anything. Also, keep your style different from others. Something that everyone can easily follow but is also trendy, classy and simple.

What’s your own fashion game that is sure shot a hit look?

Sajal: I feel classy men never go out of style. According to me, even if you’re dressing casually add that ‘oomph’ factor in your outfit, which will make heads turn. Minimal things/accessories do magic to your outfits and I swear they do!

One skincare tip for our readers?

Sajal: Never step out of your house without sunscreen. It really protects you from tan and you don’t get different shades of your skin in the pictures!

How do you want to improve yourself in the next year?

Sajal: By next year, I’ll be coming up with short fashion videos, DIY videos and other stuff – which will be really helpful to the general audience, especially men, since this kind of stuff is limited for male bloggers. Apart from that, I am also thinking to step up the fashion and travel game.
